Juan Diego’s primary job responsibilities include model development, academic research and publication. He is concurrently pursuing his PhD in statistics and applied probability at UCSB with a concentration in mathematical and statistical finance.

Prior to joining SBA, he was part of the COVID response team of the city of Bogotá where he helped developing the epidemiological model of the city.

Juan Diego has two bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics and a master’s degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Finance from the National University of Colombia.
